[b]YAKSA 夜叉乐队简历[/b]

夜叉—与时间对抗的王者

夜叉，佛界护法，凶悍，迅猛，近神体格，近鬼容貌，黑暗环境中易于吸收天地精华的生灵，梵语作YAKSA。

夜叉乐队，音乐彪悍激猛，国内新派金属的开山之祖，成军十五年来参加演出四百余场，受邀出席重庆啤酒节、真唱运动、绿色北京等国内各大音乐节，并连续六年为MIDI音乐节做压轴演出。乐队以其娴熟的音乐驾驭力与极强的现场煽动性不断捍卫与巩固中国重型摇滚乐的地位。

1995年成立于四川，1997年入京发展至今，乐队音乐风格经历了从力量金属，硬核金属到激流金属的不断转变与融合。

1999年5月首次公演后不断受到业内人士的好评，成为当年最受摇滚乐迷与媒体关注的乐队并签约京文嚎叫唱片公司。

2000年发行的第一张专辑《自由》以力量金属为主线，摒弃了传统金属乐拖沓的结构，对社会阴暗面的愤怒与鞭笞透过铿锵有力的节奏感倾泻而出，在当时取得了良好的销量，并被《通俗歌曲》等专业杂志评为当年年度十大摇滚唱片之一。它不仅点燃了国内摇滚音乐人的热情，影响众多音乐人与乐队风格的确立与转变，更成为中国第一张真正意义上的重型摇滚乐专辑，引领中国摇滚乐正式进入重型音乐的时代。

2002年与嚎叫唱片再次签约，并于2003年初发行第二张专辑《发发发》。专辑在延续暴烈与强悍的同时提出对人性，生活与整个时代的思考。吸收融入的HIP-HOP，电子舞曲等元素使音乐更加丰富，迷离狂啸的合成音色无所不在。专辑的发行使新派金属在国内摇滚乐界风靡，成为中国摇滚乐史上新派金属的开山之祖，并再次确立了乐队在重型音乐领域的旗舰地位。

2006年发行的EP《KEEP ON FIGHTING》收录四首新歌与两首伴奏，将爆发置于冷静思考之后，使乐队走上内敛沉稳的成熟音乐之路。

如今，蛰伏已久的夜叉乐队结束休整，将携第三张全新创作专辑《YOU AREN’T THE LOSER》于2010年1月1日再度降临。新专辑延续激流金属的音乐风格，在一贯对抗的愤怒姿态与反思中加入召唤的主题，呼吁年轻一辈从自私麻木与庸碌中走出，直面人生，直面理想。经历乐手变动后，新专辑的发行将是乐队成军十五年的一次里程碑式的总结，并将再次将国内重型音乐重新推至狂热的高潮。

佛经注曰，夜叉有三，在天在地在虚空。集神物灵物为一身，夜叉王者是也。云浮于天，幻聚生而风过散。沧海止于世间，坐观云变，汇聚众流，生生不息。十五年沉浮，夜叉乐队--用独立精神，自由意志以及激进的音乐对抗时间的王者！

Transliterating from Yaksa in Sanskrit, Yaksha is a kind of malevolent spirit with ferocious and hideous looking in Buddhism. It is also the valiant defender in Buddha field.

Named for Yaksa, the band is the pioneer of new metal in China. They were invited by the well-known MIDI music festival every year and attended more than 400 shows in their 15 years’ band career. Infinite energy, fluent music and exciting live shows together make them a wildly popular metal band in China.
Set up in 1995, Yaksa band left their hometown Sichuan and went to Beijing for further development. The style of their music is not relatively fixed in one school; it is a cross-section of many genres.
In 1999, Yaksa band had their first public performance in Beijing, which favorably reviewed by the personage inside the industry. Later in the year, they signed with Scream-Records Company and became the focus of both media and rock fans.
The first album of Yaksa band, <Freedom>, was released in 2000. Powermetal style with lyrics of revealing the seamy side of life in the society, the album was selected as one of the best rock album in the year. It not only inflamed lots of rock musicians with their passion, but also brought Chinese rock music into an era of heavy metal.
In 2002, they sighed a contract extension with Scream-Records Company and released their second album <F***F***F***> in 2003. With deep thoughts about human nature, life and the age, the album popularized new metal style in China.
In 2006, the releasing of EP<Keep On Fighting> announced that they were on the way to maturity.

Nowadays, after recharging, Yaksa band is back to stage again with their third album <You Aren’t The Loser>. Styled in trash metal, the latest album aims at forcing the younger generation to face sorrows, difficulties and challenges in life. No doubt, it will give a hit again in the rock music field.
After all these years, Yaksa band still keeps their own style of music with free will and independent thinking. Although the world will never be shaped by wishes, they have already braced themselves for a confrontation with time. Believe or not, the Kings are coming back!
